Short bio

I am a PhD student at University of Trento, and working on an European sponsored project at Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Italy, under the supervision of Marco Turchi and Matteo Negri. My current research addresses the problem of automatic post-editing for machine translation (MT), in which the objective is to automatically detect and correct the recurrent errors made by MT systems. Overall, I have 5+ years of experience in machine translation with several publications at top tier conferences. Currently, I am investigating deep learning techniques using Theano toolkit to address sequence-to-sequence problems that will eventually contribute to my PhD thesis. Recently, I have joined the Alexa team at Amazon, Cambridge, UK as an applied scientist intern.
