Short bio

I am a first year Ph.D. student at Fondazione Bruno Kessler (HLT-MT research group) and the University of Trento, Italy, working on the topic Deep Learning for human-in-the-loop advanced Machine Translation. I have received my M.Sc. in computer science from the University of Venice (under the supervision of Prof. Marcello Pelillo and Prof. Andrea Prati) and MBA from Bologna Business School in 2016. After obtaining my bachelor’s degree back in Ethiopia I have worked as a graduate assistant, at Bahir Dar University. My current research focuses on Multilingual Machine Translation, particularlly for low-resource languages, advised by Prof. Marcello Federico
