Short bio

Nick Ruiz

I'm currently a third-year PhD student in the Human Language Technologies-Machine Translation group at FBK and the University of Trento.
I completed an Erasmus Mundus Language & Communication Technologies European Masters program. Under this program, I studied at the University of Groningen and the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. I received a BS in Computer Science (with majors in Mathematics, and minors in Spanish and Bible) at Houghton College, located "near" Buffalo and Rochester, NY (USA).

I am interested in Machine Translation and its applications in Spoken Language scenarios (e.g. Lecture Translation, Continuous Speech Translation).
